Stormont Dundas Press Releases

(North Dundas) – On June 29, 2016 at approximately 10:11 am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a report of a Youth Probation breach in Chesterville in North Dundas Township. Investigation did reveal the female youth had failed to comply with multiple conditions.

A 17-year-old female from North Dundas Township was arrested and is charged with;

– Fail to Comply: 7 counts

She was scheduled to attend bail court at Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on June 30th, 2016.

MISCHIEF

(North Stormont) – On June 29, 2016 at 12:01 pm the Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a report of mischief on Eighth Road in North Stormont Township. Investigation revealed sometime over the last few weeks unknown suspect(s) damaged the windshield of a pickup truck on the property.

An investigation continues.

THEFTS

(North Dundas) – On June 29, 2016 at 6:43 pm Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a report of a theft on Main Street in the village of Morewood in North Dundas Township. Investigation revealed sometime Monday evening unknown suspect(s) entered a parked motor vehicle and stole an electronic item.

An investigation continues.
