(South Glengarry) – On August 25, 2016 at approximately 11:16am, an Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Highway Safety Division (HSD) officer intercepted a vehicle on Duncan Street in the Village of Lancaster, South Glengarry Township. The stop resulted in the seizure of a quantity of suspected marihuana.
The male driver, Scott ANDERSON (46) of Cornwall, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Possession of a Controlled Substance
He was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Alexandria on October 12, 2016.
BREAK-INS
(North Dundas) – Overnight (August 24-25, 2016), a residence located on Baker Road, North Dundas Township was entered. Inside, assorted construction tools (Dewalt level, drill & batteries, Mastercraft Chop saw) were stolen.
An investigation continues.
