ASSAULT POLICE

(South Dundas) – On April 21, 2015 at approximately 11:15am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a report of mischief at a residence on Hustler Crescent, South Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that an adult male had caused intentional damage to the windshield of a vehicle. During interactions with police, the male became aggressive resulting in officers being assaulted and threatened.

Ray PLUMADORE (34) of South Dundas Township was arrested and is charged with;

– Assault a Peace Officer

– Utter Threats – Cause Bodily Harm

– Mischief Under $5000

He was held in custody pending an appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall today (April 22, 2015).

STOLEN TRAILER RECOVERED (update)

(North Glengarry) – An ongoing investigation by SD&G OPP has led to the recovery of a stolen enclosed trailer. Between April 17-20, 2015, an aluminum black/white homemade enclosed trailer, bearing Quebec plate #RE9628T was stolen from a property on County Road 30, North Glengarry Township. The trailer contained various power tools.

On April 21, 2015, information was received that the trailer (minus the power tools) had been recovered abandoned in the Vankleek Hill area.

An investigation continues.
