(North Dundas) – On July 23, 2015 at approximately 5:41pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a Traffic complaint on County Road 1, North Dundas Township. Officers located the vehicle at a residence a short time later. The investigation revealed that the adult male driver was under the influence of alcohol. A second adult male at location was also under the influence of alcohol and refused to leave the premises when directed.
Bruce PETERS (50) of North Dundas, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle with Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in blood
– Driving a Motor Vehicle while Impaired
– Drive Motor vehicle – No Licence (Highway Traffic Act)
Storm ATSMA (23) of North Dundas was arrested and issued a provincial offence notice charged with;
– Fail to leave premises when directed (Trespass To Property Act)
– Being Intoxicated in a Public Place (Liquor Licence Act)
PETERS was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Morrisburg on August 4, 2015. ATSMA was released to a family member.
THEFT
(South Glengarry) – On July 23, 2015 at approximately 6:07pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a report of a theft of several Boat batteries from a property on St.Francis Lane, South Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that sometime overnight (July 19-23, 2015) culprit(s) removed the batteries.
An Investigation continues.
BREACH OF CONDITIONS
(South Glengarry) – On July 23, 2015 at approximately 7:25pm Stormont Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers intercepted a vehicle on Front Street, North Glengarry Township. Investigation revealed that an adult male was in contravention of conditions imposed by a court.
Travis RENAUD (38) of North Glengarry, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Fail to Comply with Conditions of a Probation Order
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Alexandria on September 2, 2015.
