DOMESTIC INVESTIGATION
(North Dundas) – On September 21, 2015 at approximately 2:29pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence on May Street in North Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that an altercation between an adult male and his spouse resulted in the male assaulting the female. Further information received that the male caused damage to personal items of the female.
An adult male (42) from North Dundas, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Mischief Under $5,000 (3 counts)
– Assault (2 counts)
– Forcible Confinement
– Overcome Resistance by Attempting to Choke, suffocate or strangle another person
He was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on October 13, 2015. The names of the accused persons are being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim.
DOMESTIC INVESTIGATION
(South Dundas) – On September 22, 2015 at approximately 10:09pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence on County Road 31 in South Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that an adult male continually made unwanted contacted to his ex-girlfriend. Further information also revealed that the male caused damage to her property during a previous incident. Investigation also revealed that the adult male was in contravention of conditions imposed from a previous incident.
An adult male (31) from North Dundas, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Mischief (2 counts)
– Fail To Comply with Conditions of a Recognizance (4 counts)
– Break and Enter
– Criminal Harassment
The Male was held in custody (Bail) and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall. The names of the accused persons are being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim.
