(North Glengarry) – On October 2, 2015 at approximately 8:40pm, Stormont, Dundas &Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a disturbance on Main Street, North Glengarry Township. The investigation revealed an adult male was in possession of a quantity of suspected marihuana.

Jonathan AUBIN (19) of North Glengarry, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;

– Possession of a Controlled Substance – Under 30 Grams

The male was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Alexandria on October 14, 2015.

TRAFFIC STOP RESULTS IN CHARGES

(South Stormont) – On October 4, 2015 at approximately 12:36am, Stormont Dundas &Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officer had the occasion to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation on Highway 138, South Stormont Township. The investigation revealed that the adult male driver was under the influence of alcohol. A check of the male driver revealed his driving privileges had been disqualified stemming from previous driving related offences.

Wayne DISOTELL (36) of North Stormont, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;

– Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle with Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in blood

– Driving a Motor Vehicle while Impaired

– Drive Disqualified

– Drive While Under Suspension (Highway Traffic Act)

He was released and scheduled to appear in Cornwall court on November 3, 2015.

THEFT OF DIRT BIKE

(South Stormont) – On October 3, 2015 at approximately 2:39pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a theft of a dirt bike from a residence on Dafoe Road, South Stormont Township. Investigation indicated that sometime between (September 29-30, 2015) a 1988 Red 250 Honda CR Dirt Bike (#96 on side) was removed from the property.

An investigation continues.

EXCESSIVE SPEEDS

(South Glengarry) – On October 4, 2015, SD&G OPP officer conducted speed measuring enforcement on Highway 401, South Glengarry Townships and intercepted the following vehicle for traveling at excessive speeds. The vehicle was impounded and the driver’s permits seized for seven (7) days in accordance to policy.

– October 4, 2015 – 8:38am (South Glengarry); vehicle stopped travelling 184km/h (100km/h zone). Male driver (49) from Etobicoke, Ontario was charged accordingly.

BREACH OF CONDITIONS

(North Glengarry) – On October 4, 2015 at approximately 2:51pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a disturbance on Don Boudria Drive, North Glengarry Township. An adult male was found to be in contravention of conditions imposed from a previous incident. The male was found to be in possession of a quantity of suspected cocaine.

Stephane SAUVE (45) of Riviere-Beaudette, Quebec was arrested and is charged with;

– Fail to Comply with Conditions of an Recognizance ( 4 counts)

– Possession of a Controlled Substance – Under 30 Grams

He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Alexandria on December 9, 2015.

STOLEN VEHICLE

(North Glengarry) – On October 5, 2015 at approximately 4:26am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a theft of a Tractor Trailer from a Business on County Road 45, North Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that sometime between (October 2-5, 2015) a 2014 White Peterbuilt 579 Tractor with Quebec Licence Plate (L583707) was removed from the property.

An investigation continues.
