(TAY TOWNSHIP) – On March 20, 2016 at 7:22 p.m. an officer from the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was conducting speed enforcement on Reeves Road in Tay Township. The officer observed a black Dodge Charger travelling at a high rate of speed and determined the speed to be 155 km/hr. in an 80 km/hr. zone.
As a result of the stop, Thomas Andrew STOLL (age 41) of Oro Medonte Township has been charged with stunt driving in relation to excessive speed.
The vehicle was impounded for seven days and his driver’s licence was suspended for seven days.
The driver is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Penetanguishene at a later date.
