(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment has charged a 16 year old male, 19 year old male and a 20 year old male after police investigated a suspicious incident at a County Line Road, Townsend, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Sunday, June 21, 2015 at approximately 6:11 a.m., police were contacted by an alert citizen about two suspicious vehicles were located on the roadway. Officers arrived on scene and located three males with two (2) white coloured Ford vans.
Through the course of investigation it was determined that both vehicles had been stolen from Blue Star Ford located on Queensway East at approximately 4:15 a.m., from the rear of the parking lot.
As a result of investigation, police recovered both vehicles and arrested and charged the following individuals.
Charged with theft over $5,000 of a motor vehicle X2 and drive motor vehicle – no licence is a 16-year-old male of Norfolk County, Ontario.
Charged with theft over $5000 of a motor vehicle X2 and fail to comply with probation order is 19-year-old Thomas LAFORME of Haldimand County, Ontario.
Charged with theft over $5000 of a motor vehicle X2 and drive motor vehicle- no licence is 20-year-old Brandon Michael LABONTE of Norfolk County, Ontario.
All are to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
