Stolen Vehicles Recovered – 16 Year Old Charged

(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County detachment has charged a 16 year old male with numerous Criminal offences as a result of break and enter investigation in the Dunnville, Haldimand County area.

On Monday June 01st, 2015 a break and enter was located at a Ramsey Drive, Dunnville, Haldimand County address where a garage was entered and an Arctic Cat All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) was located and removed.

On Thursday June 11th, 2015 a 2005 Dodge van was stolen from a Highway (Hwy) #3, Dunnville, Haldimand County address and a short time after the theft the van was involved in a motor vehicle collision.

As a result of social media and a Police investigation a 16 year old male Haldimand County, ON resident was identified and has been arrested. He is charged with Break and Enter, Possession of Property obtained by Crime under $5000, Theft of a Motor Vehicle, and Fail to Comply with Court Order. The 16 year old is to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga, ON at a later date to answer to the charges.
