(Sioux Lookout, ON) Sioux Lookout Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a series of property crimes which occurred in the early morning hours of Friday May 01, 2015. Police received 2 Break and Enter calls in the Prince/Princess Street areas followed by a theft of a motor vehicle. The unknown suspect or suspects stole a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado.
Police recovered the stolen vehicle stuck in a sand trap at the Ojibway Golf and Country Club. Police recovered evidence at scene and believe these crimes maybe related. It is also believed more than one person, possibly youths, may be involved or have knowledge of what occurred. The stolen vehicle was also implicated in damaged property at the Sioux Lookout airport.
