(TOWNSHIP OF CHATSWORTH, ON) – On August 27, 2016 at approximately 6:19 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of suspicious, unknown males observed pushing a red, 1994 Honda Civic, on Victoria Street in Walter’s Falls, in the Township of Chatsworth. The vehicle was abandoned behind a commercial property on Victoria Street.
Police attended and had the vehicle towed after it was discovered that the plates had been reported stolen from London in 2014 and that the vehicle was registered to a person in Severn Bridge, Ontario.
On August 29, 2016 at approximately 10:16 p.m., Grey County OPP received a report of a stolen vehicle from a residence on Front Street in Walter’s Falls. Investigation revealed it was the same Honda Civic that had been recovered earlier. The vehicle, which did not have a battery and was not roadworthy, was being stored by the complainant.
