(PETROLIA, ON) – On Friday December 4th, 2015 at approximately 10:00 p.m., a member of the Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a suspicious motor vehicle being operated in the area of Lorne Street and Nauvoo Road, Brooke-Alvinston Township.
The OPP Officer was stopped at the intersection when a Dodge Ram pick-up passed by the officers location. The Dodge pick-up had sustained obvious damage to the front of the vehicle and was also being driven with a flat rear tire. OPP conducted a traffic stop and through the investigation was able to determine that the pick-up was stolen from Elgin County earlier this month and the operator was a disqualified driver. The lone male driver of the vehicle was arrested and while being searched, a quantity of suspected marijuana was located in their possession. The accused was then transported to the Lambton OPP – Petrolia Detachment.
As a result, 29 year-old, Brian Ernest WALL of St. Thomas, ON was charged with:
Possession of Property Obtained By Crime Over $5000.00
Possession of a Scheduled II Substance
Driving While Disqualified
The accused was held for a Bail Hearing on Saturday December 5th, 2015.
