(TOWNSHIP OF SOUTHGATE, ON) – On January 2, 2016 at approximately 2:51 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of an abandoned, un-plated, vehicle in the ditch on Southgate Road 26 near Grey Rd. 23 in the Township of Southgate.
Investigation revealed that the recovered vehicle, a 2008 silver (light blue) Chrysler PT Cruiser, had been reported stolen to police at 10:43 a.m. on December 31, 2015. The vehicle, bearing Ontario licence plates BTHP 299 at the time of theft, was stolen from the driveway of a residence on Hwy. 10 in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.
