(PETROLIA, ON) –On Tuesday June 23, 2015, at 12:15 p.m., Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was dispatched to a business on Nauvoo Road, Alvinston ON regarding a possible stolen motor vehicle.
Lambton OPP attended the location and obtained a description of the stolen motor vehicle. Within hours of receiving the original complaint, Lambton OPP observed a vehicle fitting the description of the stolen motor vehicle, being operated in the Municipality of Lambton Shores. A male driver of the motor vehicle, upon observing police, sped away from the area. Lambton OPP followed the motor vehicle and located it running and a stuck in a cemetery. The male driver exited the vehicle and then fled on foot into a bush area. Lambton OPP contained the area and activated the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Canine. The male party was located and arrested a short time later by the Lambton OPP.

Personation with Intent
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime (3 Counts)
Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
Instrument for Fraudulently Obtaining Use of Computer
Theft Under $5000
Fail to Comply with Recognizance of Bail (4 Counts)
Fail to Comply with Probation Order
The accused will appear in the Sarnia Ontario Court of Justice on Wednesday June 24, 2015 for a Bail Hearing.
