STOLEN TRUCKS ACT AS REMINDER TO LOCK YOUR VEHICLES

(NORWICH, ON.) – On Friday, August 15, 2014 at approximately 12:00 p.m. Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received information regarding a pickup truck that had just been stolen from the Foodland parking lot on Main Street in Norwich. The truck was a 2006 Ford F150, black in color.

While taking the information, report of a second theft of a pickup truck was received as being stolen from the parking lot at Davidson’s Sport and Lawn on Highway 59 south, south of Norwich. Stolen was a restored blue, 1987 GMC, V15. The initial Ford stolen was left at this location where police recovered it.

Both vehicles were left with keys in them.

Oxford County OPP would like to remind all vehicle owners to secure their vehicles and removal all valuable from sight. Remember “Lock it or Lose it!”
