(ADELAIDE METCALFE, ON) – On the afternoon of August 17, 2015, the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime Unit, with assistance from the Middlesex County OPP, the Lambton County OPP Crime Unit, and the OPP Regional Support Team, attended a property in the 1000 block of Napperton Drive.
A Criminal Code (CC) search warrant was executed at the residence.
As a result of the execution of the search warrant, a motorized vehicle, and a large number of power tools were recovered. Two adult males were arrested.
22-year-old male Michael TRETHEWEY, from Adelaide Metcalfe, Ontario, has been charged under the Criminal Code of Canada with:
break, enter a place – commit indictable offence X5
theft over $5000 X5
possession property obtained by crime over $5000 X5
mischief over $5000
20-year-old male, Riley SLEGERS, from Strathroy Caradoc, Ontario, has been charged under the Criminal Code of Canada with:
break, enter a place – commit indictable offence
theft over $5000
The accused persons were each released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear, and are scheduled to answer to the charges in the London courts in October 2015.
