On January 3, 2014 at 8:35 am a Barrie Police officer on general patrol on Drury Lane observed a vehicle which contained two suspicious people. The vehicle was subsequently stopped.
Further investigation revealed that both licence plates on the vehicle were both reported stolen. Officers arrested a 39 year old male and a 35 year old female both from Barrie.
The female was found to be in possession of marihuana. Both individuals were on probation orders not to communicate with each other.
Officers transported both accused to the Barrie Court House for a bail hearing.
