(WALKERTON, ON) On May 9, 2013 at 12:56 pm, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report that fireworks had been stolen from the Mac’s Convenience Store on Yonge Street south in Walkerton. Officers arrived at the store to learn that Big Bang fireworks valued at $18 had been taken. Through investigation, police identified 3 people involved with this theft. A 14 year old male and a 15 year old male were found in possession of the stolen property while another 14 year old male was found to be responsible for the theft. The accused males cannot be identified under provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act. The stolen fireworks have been recovered.
