(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County detachment have been advised that the dog from a Main St, Jarvis, Haldimand County, ON address has been returned.
On Friday January 23rd, 2015 at approximately 1:05 pm Police responded to Little Johnny’s Restaurant, Main St. after a Jack Russell Terrier dog was stolen from the property.
Investigation revealed that at approximately 10:30 am a male and female driving an older style red sport utility vehicle stopped at the restaurant approached the dog which was outside at the time and loaded in the vehicle. They then fled the area travelling southbound on Hwy #6 towards Port Dover, ON.
On Tuesday January 27th, 2015 at approximately 4:45 pm Police received information that the dog has been returned to the owners safe and sound.
The investigation is continuing into the theft.
