(QUINTE WEST, ON) – On the 27th of July 2013, officers attended a West Street address in the City of Quinte West for the report of a stolen canoe. The owner of the canoe reports that sometime over the past couple of days the canoe went missing from his property. The canoe is a 1960 York canoe, yellow in color with a value of approx. $200. The owner was in the process of repairing the canoe. There are no distinguishing names or numbers on the canoe. Anyone with information about this canoe is asked to contact the Quinte West detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police at 613-392-3561.
