(TOWNSHIP OF ADJALA-TOSORONTIO) – On Friday, October 21, 2016, a maintenance building at the Silverbrook Golf Course in Tosorontio Township was broken into and an All-Terrain-Vehicle (ATV) was stolen.
While conducting follow-up on Saturday, October 22, 2016, members of the Nottawasaga Detachment, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), observed three youths operating the stolen ATV in the area. The three youths initially took off into a trail network but were eventually apprehended at a nearby residence. They were arrested and the ATV was recovered as well as a dirt bike which had been stolen from a nearby property.
A 14 year old male, and two 15 year old males, all from Tosorontio Township were charged with Break and Enter, Theft, and Possession of Stolen Property. The accused will appear in Barrie Youth Court to answer to the charges.
