(STRONG TWP, ON) On Monday January 12, 2015 at approximately 6:30 p.m., the Almaguin Highlands Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was patrolling Highway 11, Strong Township, when they stopped a Dodge pickup truck at Highway 11 and Highway 124.
A police investigation revealed that there was a 2008 Can-Am 450 All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) in the back of the pick-up truck that had been reported stolen out of Alberta.
Police arrested two men, Tyler CORLESS, 22 of Burk’s Falls, Ontario and Jacob CURRIE, 20 of Perry Township. Both accused were charged with possession of property obtained by a crime over $5000, contrary to the Criminal Code.
The accused were released from police custody and are to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on Thursday February 26, 2015 in Sundridge, Ontario.
