(MUNICIPALITY OF GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – On September 7, 2016 at approximately 10:27 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a suspicious male driving a black Porsche vehicle on Grey Rd. 12 in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.
Police found the suspicious vehicle, a 1987 Porsche 944 turbo, abandoned on Grey Rd. 12.
Investigation revealed that the vehicle had been stolen from a residence on Grey Rd. 16 in the Township of Georgian Bluffs.
On September 8, 2016 at 10:55 p.m., Grey County OPP arrested a 14-year old youth from Georgian Bluffs in connection to the theft. The accused was charged with theft of a motor vehicle; possession of stolen property and breach of recognizance.
He was remanded in custody following a bail hearing. His next court appearance is scheduled for September 12, 2016.
