(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County detachment has charged a 68 year old male with several Criminal Code offences after after recovering a stolen vehicle at a Walpole Concession Road #11, Haldimand County, ON address.
On Saturday January 24th, 2015 Police were called to a break and enter into a storage building at Total Forest Industries located on Walpole Concession Road #11. During the investigation a 2007 Jeep Cherokee was located within the building and was found to have been reported stolen to the Niagara Regional Police in December 2010.
As a result of the ensuing investigation the former Jeep owner was arrested for Fraud on Wednesday July 9th, 2015.
Charged with Fraud Over $5000, Public Mischief, Uttering Forged Document, and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000 dollars in 68 year old Stipan CURIC of Niagara Region, ON. He is to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga, ON at a later date to answer to the charges.
