(Douro Dummer Township, ON) – On Saturday April 5, 2014, at approximately 6:42 p.m. officers from the Peterborough County OPP had occasion to investigate a motorist on Highway 28 near Strickland Road.
Officers patrolling the highway at the time noted a Black Chevrolet pickup truck being operated at a high rate of speed and conducted a traffic stop. As a result of the investigation 37 year old Steven SOUTHEY of Selwyn Township was arrested and charged with, Having Over 80mgs of Alcohol in his Blood.
SOUTHEY was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Peterborough Provincial Courts on May 15, 2014
