(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment has charged a 45 year old male and 41 year old female after police investigated several complaints related to a Norfolk County, Ontario address.
The OPP has received several complaints from concerned community members after they provided funds to purchase vehicles and tires. The Norfolk County Crime Unit commenced an investigation and received additional complaints from residents of Norfolk County, Ontario and individuals outside of the province of Ontario.
Through investigation it was determined that several people attended and called the address in an attempt to purchase vehicles and automotive parts. Numerous complaints have since been received by police stemming from December of 2014 to July 2015 from various people that attended an automotive centre.
As a result of investigation, police have arrested and charged 45-year-old Steven Bradley STACKHOUSE of Norfolk County, Ontario with fraud over $5,000 X4 and fraud under $5,000.
Charged with fraud over $5,000 X4 and fraud under $5,000 is 41-year-old Jacqueline KAY of Norfolk County, Ontario.
Both are to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
