(PRINCETON, ON) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Child Sexual Exploitation Unit (CSEU) assisted by the Waterloo Regional Police Service Technological Crime Unit and Brant County OPP Detachment have arrested and charged a Princeton man following a child pornography investigation.
On January 5, 2017, members the OPP Child Sexual Exploitation Unit, Waterloo Regional Police Service Technical Crime Unit and the Brant County OPP Detachment arrested a 36 year old male for possessing, accessing and distributing child pornography.
Steve Joseph Marcel PELLAND, age 36 years, of Princeton Ontario is charged with two counts of Possession of Child Pornography, one count of Accessing Child Pornography and one count of Distributing Child Pornography.
The accused has been held in custody pending a bail hearing on January 17, 2017 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford.
The investigation is continuing.
