(Cavan Monaghan Township) – On Sunday October 5, 2014, at approximately 5:00 a.m. officers from Peterborough County OPP received a call of an erratic driver on highway 7.
Police received a report of a motor vehicle operating in an erratic manner on Highway 7. The vehicle was observed veering into oncoming traffic and travelling at a high rate of speed. Officers located the vehicle and stopped it and investigated the driver.
As a result of the investigation 22 year old Steve DUNCANSON of Kingston was arrested and charged with Having Over 80mgs of Alcohol in his Blood.
DUNCANSON was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Peterborough Provincial Courts on November 20, 2014.
