(BOSANQUET TWP, ON) – On January 11, 2017 at approximately 7:50 a.m. the Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) initiated a traffic stop for speeding in excess of 130 Km/Hr in a posted 80 Km/Hr zone on Lakeshore Road, Bosanquet Twp. Ontario.
The male driver, Spencer J. GOSSET, 19 years-of-age of Forest, Ontario was charged with Stunt Driving- excessive speed. He was released at the scene pending a traffic court date of February 10, 2017, his driver’s licence and 2005 Volvo was seized for a period of seven days as per The Highway Traffic Act’ provisions.
Clearly, driving that fast on a two lane highway during the winter season endangers other motorists! In these cases, expect that the OPP will enforce our traffic laws in their entirety!
