Speeding Driver And Passenger Charged With Drugs In Chatsworth

(TOWNSHIP OF CHATSWORTH, ON) – On October 28, 2016 at approximately 7:34 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a Honda Civic vehicle after it was found speeding on the Grey-Bruce Town Line in the Township of Chatsworth.

As a result of the investigation, the driver, 21-year old Luke EDINGTON, of Lindsay, Ontario was charged with speeding under the Highway Traffic Act (HTA) and possession of marihuana – under 30 grams, under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA).

His passenger, 22-year old Roy PHILIPE, of Arran-Elderslie Township, was charged with possession of marihuana – under 30 grams, under the CDSA.

They are to attend court on December 15, 2016 in Owen Sound to speak to the charges.
