(Madoc Twp, ON) – On November 8, 2013 at 10:20pm Central Hastings O.P.P stopped a vehicle for speeding, 126km in a posted 80km per hour zone on Highway #7 near Rapids Road in Madoc Township. The driver, 55 year old Andrew SAMS of Almonte, ON had been consuming alcohol and he subsequently registered a warning on the roadside screening device. As a result he was issued a provincial offences notice for speeding and his driver’s licence was suspended for three days.
