On the 24th of April 2015 at approximately 5:30pm, Traffic Services were conducting speed enforcement in the area of Homer Watson Blvd and Block Line Rd in the City of Kitchener. A vehicle was stopped after being observed well in excess of the speed limit. Upon further investigation a small amount of marihuana was located and the driver was arrested for having possession of a controlled substance. A Kitchener male was charged with speeding and possession of a controlled substance.
