South Simcoe Police Daily News Release – 17May2017

(Bradford, ON) On Tuesday, May 16, 2017, around 6:30 p.m., South Simcoe Police were called to a Bradford home on Aishford Road, after the homeowner discovered a burglary. Sometime during the day, a suspect kicked in the front door of the home, then ransacked the master bedroom. 

Anyone in the area with surveillance cameras are asked to review their footage for May 16 for any evidence of prowlers.

Theft Of Trailer 

(Innisfil, ON) South Simcoe Police are reviewing surveillance tapes after a theft of a camping trailer overnight on Monday. On Tuesday, May 16, 2017, employees at Campmart, located at Innisfil Beach Road next to Highway 400, noticed that a trailer had been taken overnight. Video shows that a 41 foot Heartland trailer was taken at 6:12 a.m. by three suspects in a Ford F350 dually pickup, black or dark green in colour, with trailer mirrors and orange clearance lights on the roof. The truck also has silver rails on the truck bed and aluminum rims. The vehicles were last seen westbound on Innisfil Beach Road. The suspects are described as: 

1-Driver: Male, medium build, red hoody and red pants 

2-Male, short, wearing a red hoody and jean shorts 

3-Male, medium build, wearing a red hoody and jeans. 

Investigators are keen to speak with the occupants of a white van that was also seen on the surveillance at the same time. 

The neighbouring Tim Hortons is busy during this time and officers are hoping a customer may have information about the suspects or their vehicle. 

Theft From Auto 

(Innisfil, ON) On Tuesday, May 16, 2017, South Simcoe Police were called to an Innisfil address for a theft of a car stereo. A resident of Hunter Street reported that sometime between 9:30 p.m. and 9:30 a.m., someone cut open the canvas roof of his 2011 Smart car and pulled the stereo and navigation system from the dash.
