Theft of Trailer
(Bradford, ON) On March 6, 2017, South Simcoe Police were called to a construction site at 5 Sideroad and 5th Line in the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury for a report of a stolen trailer. Sometime between Friday evening and Monday morning, the dual axle flat bed with ramps at the rear was removed. Shoplifting
(Innisfil, ON) South Simcoe Police were called to a business in Innisfil on Monday, March 06, 2017 around 6:00 p.m. for a theft that just occurred. Store security witnessed a woman put merchandise into her purse within the store. They continued to watch her check out, paying for some items, but making no attempt to pay for the concealed items. She was arrested an held for police. The 43 year old woman from Barrie was charged with Theft Under $5000 and was served a 2 year Trespass notice.
Damage to Vehicle
(Innisfil, ON) South Simcoe Police were called to a home on Monday, March 06, 2017, around 10:00 a.m. for a report of a vehicle being vandalized. Sometime between 4:00 p.m. Sunday and 10:00 Monday morning unknown culprits entered a woman’s car on Rosemary Lane by smashing the rear view window to gain entry. The plastic on the steering wheel was removed and the air bags were removed.
Theft from Locker
(Innisfil, ON) On Tuesday, March 07, 2017, at 11:00 p.m., South Simcoe Police were called to the YMCA located in the Town of Innisfil for a theft that had occurred. While a member was swimming, his locker was entered by having the lock removed along with his personal belongings. Gym Security Tips: Take in only what you absolutely need. Leave your wallet and cell phone in your car, secured in the trunk.
