(SOUTH RIVER, ON) On Saturday January 25, 2014, the Almaguin Highlands Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a suspicious person at a Riverside Avenue residence in South River, Ontario.
When police arrived they found a male leaving the driveway of the residence and after speaking with him, arrested the accused, Carmen HARRISON (45) of South River, Ontario for being intoxicated in a public place, contrary to the Liquor Licence Act of Ontario. Police also located numerous unmarked cigarettes on the accused and charged him with possession of unmarked cigarettes contrary to the Tobacco Tax Act.
