(LAKE HURON, ON) – On September 1, 2013 at 4:47 pm, members of the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) marine unit were patrolling the waters of Lake Huron when they stopped to inspect a 16 foot Seadoo. Officers found that the vessel didn’t have enough life jackets on board. 46 year old Todd PARSONS of Thames Centre was charged with a safety equipment violation under the Canada Shipping Act – Small Vessel Regulations.
