South Bruce OPP Kept Busy With Storm Calls

(SOUTHERN BRUCE COUNTY, ON) – During the afternoon of August 2, 2015, a storm featuring powerful gusts of wind passed over Southern Bruce County. Between 3:40 p.m. on August 2, 2015 and 10:00 a.m. on August 3, 2015, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received 41 storm related calls. The calls included hydro poles or trees that were knocked down across a roadway, vehicle and other property damage. There were no injuries reported to police at any of these calls.

The South Bruce OPP is requesting anyone with information that can assist police to call 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or send a web-tip to crimestop-gb.org, where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
