(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County detachment has charged a 60 year old male with drinking and driving related offences at a Highway 3, Haldimand County, ON address.
On Saturday March 5th, 2016 at approximately 3:39 pm, members of the Haldimand OPP stopped a silver 2005 Mercedes car for a sobriety check.
Upon speaking with the driver, Officers could detect signs of impairment which resulted in his arrest.
As a result of the investigation the driver of the car identified as 60 year old Peter SOLTY of Mississauga, ON has been charged with Impaired Operation of a motor vehicle, and Operate Motor Vehicle with over the legal limit of alcohol. He is to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga, ON at a later date to answer to the charges.
