Social Media Post Helps Recover Stolen Pickup Truck In Listowel

(MORRIS-TURNBERRY, ON) – Police have since recovered the black, 2013 Ford F-150 that had been reported stolen earlier this week from a Cardiff Road residence. Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) located the stolen pickup truck yesterday afternoon around 1:30 p.m. parked on Barber Avenue North in Listowel.

Police were tipped off to the stolen truck’s location after a citizen read a social media post. The witness happened to come across the truck after reading that it had been reported stolen. Police immediately attended the scene and secured the stolen vehicle.
