Snowmobiler Jumps Dirt Mound – One Sent To Hospital

On January 15th, 2015 at approximately 3pm a 25 year old Municipality of Bayham man was transported to hospital with minor injuries after being involved in a single vehicle snowmobile collision.

The male was operating a 1986 Yamaha snowmobile on his own property on Plank Rd. in the Municipality of Bayham when he attempted to jump off a large dirt mound. The snowmobile flew approximately 20 feet before crash landing and rolling. The driver, who was not wearing a helmet or other protective gear, was transported to hospital via ambulance with minor injuries.

Police investigation is complete and no charges have been laid.
