(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating the theft of a snowmobile.
On March 26, 2014 an OPP officer attended a residence on Highway 7 in the former Emily Township in response to the theft of a snowmobile from an unlocked shed in the back yard of the property. The theft occurred sometime between March 15 and March 24 while the owners were away.
Stolen was a 2008 Arctic Cat F1000 LXR, orange and black in colour with licence #860114. The sled is valued at $6 500.
