(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Haldimand County detachment has investigated a snow plow and pickup truck collision at a Hwy #3, Jarvis, Haldimand County, ON address.
On Friday January 24th, 2014 at approximately 5:55 pm a green 2011 Chev pickup truck was travelling eastbound on Hwy #3 when it attempted to pass several vehicles including a white 2005 International snow plow that was clearing the highway of snow. During the passing the two vehicles, the pickup truck and snow plow collided.
As a result of the collision the pickup truck entered the ditch and struck a tree. The three passengers and the driver in the pickup truck sustained minor injuries.
Charged with Careless Driving is 22 year old Joel PORTEOUSE of Norfolk County, ON. He was issued a Provincial Offence Notice for the charge.
