SNIDER – Impaired Care and Control – Over 80

(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) – This morning at approximately 9:10 am an officer from the City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was checking vehicles at the commuter lot at the intersection of Eldon Road and Ramsay Road.

After an investigation, Michael SNIDER, 32 years of age, of Little Britain is charged with the following offences:

Care or Control While Impaired contrary to section 253(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada (CCC)

Care or Control Over 80 mgs contrary to section 253(1)(b) of the CCC

Have Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle with Open Container of Alcohol contrary to section 32(1) of the Liquor Licence Act

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay on June 9, 2016.
