Small Amount Of Weed At RIDE

(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) On December 16, 2014, just before 4:00 p.m., Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were conducting a RIDE (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) program at Highway 401 and Queens Line, when a Pontiac Sunfire entered and stopped for the officers.

Officers spoke with the occupants of the vehicle. Subsequent OPP investigation resulted in the officers seizing a small amount of suspected marihuana.

The 27 year old male passenger, Morgan DARLINGTON, from Wheatley, has been charged with Possession of Marihuana, under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

He is scheduled to appear in a Chatham court on February 5, 2015, to answer to the charge.
