While conducting a R.I.D.E. programme in the 800 block of 10th Street West at 11:00 p.m. November 15th, R.I.D.E. officers detected a strong odour of burnt marihuana coming from the interior of a vehicle that had travelled eastbound into their checkpoint. Investigation led to the discovery of a small amount of suspected cannabis marihuana.
A 38-year old Owen Sound male is charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with possession of marihuana. He is required to attend court on December 17th, 2015 to answer to the allegations.
