(Selwyn Township, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a vehicle, being operated in an erratic manor, on Brealey Drive near Parkhill Road, just before 2:30am this morning.
Upon further investigation, the female driver had not been consuming alcohol and was arrested for Impaired Operation of the vehicle while impaired by a drug. A Drug Recognition Evaluator (DRE) from the Peterborough Police Service was utilized to determine the driver’s level of impairment. Marihuana was also seized when the vehicle was searched incident to the arrest.
