(ELGIN COUNTY, ON) – On August 5, 2016 around 1:00a.m. Elgin County Ontario Provincial (OPP) responded to an ambulance assistance call in Port Stanley, Ontario.
The male subject became uncooperative with EMS and police personnel.
Once apprehended, he was taken to a local hospital for treatment of an upper body injury.
The OPP has notified the province’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU) which has invoked its mandate. As a result the OPP will not be able to provide any further information. Any other inquiries should be directed to SIU Communications at (416) 622-2342.
