(KEMPTVILLE, ON) – On Monday, November 14, 2016 at approximately 12:26 a.m., officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Grenville County detachment responded to a call for service at a residence located on River Road, North Grenville.
A female was placed under arrest and while being transported to the detachment, there was an interaction that occurred between the female and the officer in which both sustained injuries.
The OPP has notified the province’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU) which has invoked its mandate. As a result, the OPP will not be able to provide any further information. Any other inquiries should be directed to SIU Communications at (416) 622-2342.
