(HAWKESBURY, ON) – On Friday May 13, 2016 members of the Hawkesbury detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), with the assistance of the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU) attended a residence located on Concession Road 8, Nation Township with regards to a person in distress.
When officers entered a structure on the property, they located an adult male deceased.
The province’s Special Investigation Unit (SIU) was notified by the OPP and has invoked its mandate. Any further inquiries should be directed to SIU Communications at 416-622-2342
