SIOUX LOOKOUT OPP LAY CHARGES IN VEHICLE BREAK-INS

(SIOUX LOOKOUT, ON.) The Sioux Lookout Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a 19 year old resident after receiving a report of someone breaking into vehicles in the Prince Street area.

During the evening of October 28th, officers responded to a report from a citizen who observed the accused rummaging through one of their neighbors vehicles. Officers quickly responded to the complaint and located the subject, who then fled on foot from police.

The accused was arrested after a foot pursuit, and the subsequent investigation revealed that several vehicles had been entered and property removed from some of them.

Kenneth QUILL has been charged with trespass at night, theft under $5000, mischief to property, resist arrest, and breach of probation.

QUILL remains in custody at this time, and will appear in Sioux Lookout Court on October 29th.
